David Seaman
1990-2003Read MoreDavid Seaman joined Arsenal in 1990 and over the subsequent 13 seasons proved himself to be one of world's leading goalkeepers. In a glittering Gunners career, he played over 500 times for the club, winning three league titles, the European Cup Winners Cup, the League Cup and four FA Cups, the last of which came, when he symbolically kept a clean sheet in the 2003 FA Cup final win over Southampton - this followed a match winning save in the semi-final against Sheffield United's Paul Peschisolido, considered the best save ever seen by many observers. An England international with 75 caps for his country, 'Safe Hands' was a hugely reassuring presence in goal, combining athletic shot stopping and reflexes with excellent decision making and a calm demeanour. -
