This shirt is inspired by Arsenal's 1997/99 away shirt worn during their double success of the 1997/98 season. If ever a single game has turned a title race on its head, it was the 1998 1-0 win against Manchester United in Wengers' first full season in charge. Marc Overmars' 79th-minute strike - poked through the legs of the onrushing Peter Schmeichel - secured the win and dealt a decisive blow to the hosts' Premier League ambitions. Such was the effect of the result that Arsenal went on to win the title with 2 games to spare and also lifted the FA Cup for the first of Wenger's two Doubles.
A striking gold and navy double winners themed polo with AFC motif across the chest, and sleeve, as well as featuring a woven Arsenal FC crest to the left chest.
